Dogs are problems for cats. Cos their introduction should be in a right way. I have dogs at home, also two cats & they play all day together.
Food won’t do if it’s already afraid of human. If u can make a plan that you are a harmless being who want to offer food and friendship- it’ll work for sure.
Most of the dog’s stuffs don’t work for cats. They are attracted to smaller toys. If it is a kitten it’ll get along with your dogs eventually.
Good luck.
I have not had too many problems in the past "taming" cats. I am very persistent with them but of course, the key here is not to spook them. I mean, you do not want to force your way on the cat. I doubt if the toy would really make any difference anyway as (I presume it is not your own)it will be scared of you. Do try to put a bowl of milk nearby or some chicken, that should lure it. And I know that it is not advisable to do this but if it is your last resort, get some dry food you feed your dogs with and put it out there. I know that cats shouldn’t eat dogs’ food, but one time is not gonna really harm the cat, I suppose. Besides, dog food will do the job just as cat food (it smells yummy to them!)
Now if the cat is your own and it has strain away, try and call it to you. Perhaps it will not respond right away, especially as the territory will be new to him/her (if it is an indoor cat). But if you open the door of your cat carrier and step back a little (to not intimidate the cat even more), the cat will most likely pick its own smell off the cat carrier and approach it. If it does, be on standby and quick to push the cat in the carrier.
No tuna? What about chicken or other meats? To make it more appealing, drown a chunk of meat in low sodium chicken broth. If it can resist that-who knows what food it’ll like. Lure it out with the meat and then put the meat in the cage. Wear leather/thick gardening gloves in case it tries to scratch you. Take it to the vet to be examined.
God bless

We caught our stray with food. We just had it in a little pile by the door and she would come. We would proceed to leave some out for here when we remember and she would always come back when she was hungry.
Tuna Fish and a bowl of milk that should help bring the cat around. Than whenever it’s near try to catch it than without spooking it.
hahaha.i think you just make a trace of a food so that she would like you
any kind of food would do.
