you can get wooden circles at any craft store that would work great and they come in lots of different sizes but you would need alot. depending on how long you would want this tunnel..just roll out material that you would want on the outside. and then use some kind of glue adhesive and glue them all in a line and then roll the fabric around it(sorry if im confusing you this is the only way i know how to describe it) this way it will be collapsable and you can store it when it is not beign used….
We made a slightly larger tunnel using one of those round, collapsable laundry hampers. Its all soft material and folds right down, but its not a snug fit for the cats… they love it though! We just cut the bottom out!
The material is pulled tight, so there’s no support in the sides, just solid rings around the ends… maybe some thick, sturdy wire? The hamper has velco tabs on the ends, so it can be folded flat.
