Homemade Cat toys???????

What are some good ideas for some homemade cat toys???

-Crumpled foil
-An old thread spool/bobbin attached to a length of elastic hung from a doorway or attached to a furniture leg.
-A cardboard box about 4 inches deep by whatever width and depth, cut paw sized holes all around and the top, and put in balls, crumpled paper and your cat will be amused for hours trying to get at the things in there.
-An old sock with a little plastic bag stuffed in (cats like the crinkle sound) and tied at the end (add a little catnip if desired)
-A piece of rag on a string affixed to a pole/stick for a kitty tease
-Birdfeeder. Hours of amusement (and clicking) from the cat, and the birds like it too.
Your cat will inspire you to other types of toys. I can’t bring a cardboard box in the house without a cat hopping in, so if I’m not in the mood to clean (which is most of the time) or not expecting company, I’ll get a few and strew them around the house for kitty amusement.
Boxes. Just plain ol’ cardboard boxes are great! If you have one that opens on the side instead of the top you can hand a ball or something from a string from the top so when your cat looks inside it sees something dangling. Or, some cats prefer bags, paper of course because they make noise but are still like secret hiding places. My cat loves to play with the plastic easter eggs and pieces of paper…just make sure he/she isn’t eating it.
My kitten loves ribbons, freezer bag ties, corks… basically anything that dangles or can be thrown (but is too big to be swallowed). Unfortunately he also likes curtains, but we’re trying to train him out of that one.
My cat LOVES cardboard boxes and plastic bags and bottle caps!!
1. You can just use string.
2. Make a maze out of cardboard boxes, and put peek holes, and fun things (like treats, a toy mouse, etc. Do not put string in it, because she can swallow it and it can wad into a ball and block something)
3. You can put a feather on the end of a stick.
4. Give her some cat nip.
5. Use a red light. (a lazer thing, or a flashlight.)

A cardboard tube(those you get from the paper towels when their finished), paper balls(really fun), a feather tied to some string and a long wooden stick(sort of like a fishing rod), a box big enough for them to fit in, and a little ball. My cat loves to chase little balls(those you get out of those 25cent things that you spin, kinda like a gumball machine). She bats them around, along with paper balls. Your cat could also like those mini race cars that you can just push them around and watch your cat chase them. You can also use bottle caps.
NOTHING string related, if they eat it that’s a vet emergency.
Stick with small things they can toss around but not chew pieces off of. You can also stuff cantip into the toe of a tube sock and tie off the end and let them play with that.
a really fast and cheap thing to do is take an old sock, put some cat nip in it, stuff the sock with the excess, and sew the end shut. my cat loves it. sometimes i’m really lazy and just sprinkle cat nip on the floor. anything becomes a toy then.
Take an old tube sock and dump about 1/2 cup of catnip in it. Tie a not just above the catnip, then fold the rest of the sock over the knot and the catnip and tie another knot. Cats go crazy over it! And they don’t spill the catnip everywhere!. You can buy catnip at pet stores, or even drug stores and grocery stores in the pet aisle! My cats love it! (It costs less than $1)
A paper bag or a piece of string
