My cat has a squashy ball, a fluffy mouse that used to move and another ball that is actually for a bird with a little bell inside. He never plays with these they are usually left on the living room floor. But if another of our cats touches them he runs over, grabs them, takes them back to his nest and sits on them. Almost like a little kid grabbing back his toys and saying MINE! Why does he do this?

my cat has no problem taking his toys out of his toy basket we have under our coffee table, but never puts them back. And always brings out more, especially like at night or when i’m not home cause he wants to play. He brings them out with his mouth and carries them
around the house.
Anyway, how can i teach him to put his toys away?

cat that needs exercise:
he has alot of toys, goes for walks daily, and is spoiled rotten with attention and love
he is 8 months old (today), was neutered two months ago
he is a healthy weight (for now)
and he eats right according to our vet
my concern is the number of obese cats out there — I’m working full time and starting college in the fall…he’ll always receive the amount of attention he gets now(if not more), but is there anything I can do to help him get more exercise? Is there a toy that cats really love or a place I can take him to walk when the snow is taller than him outside?
he’s been sleeping more since the op. and I’m worried he’ll turn into one of those cats with health problems because i didn’t take any preventive measures!

My kitty used to play with toys when she was younger; but now that she’s older she’s losing interest. She seems pretty bored and we can’t adopt another cat right now. I’m at school all day and my grandmother doesn’t have to energy to play with an energetic cat. What are some toys that I could give her that DON’T INVOLVE TREATS? (She’s getting pretty chubby and doesn’t need any more treats)
