Tips for air travel with my cat?
I’m flying from CA to TX in two weeks & am traveling for the first time with my 2 year old cat. I am carrying her in-cabin in her pet carrier. Any tips?

my cat is a semi-long haired cat and i brushed her for 10 min with a brush with thistle like teeth, but she still sheds hair horribly. i give her a bath but that makes her shed even more.
I "inherited" my parents’ old cat carrier. How do I clean and disinfect it so that my kitten doesn’t get sick when I bring him home in 2 weeks?
I brushed my cat with a black comb now it has some unsual white residue on it, i suspect dander?? I’m a little bit allergic to cats so when i put it near me it makes me a lil itchy
also what sort of brush should I be using on my long haired cat?

I am moving and have to find new homes for my two cats. Please don’t write me about me keeping them and/or being a bad pet owner because I absolutely can not keep them and yes I hate it.
Anyway, I put an ad out on this Vegas website asking for people to please adopt one of the cats. I am offering a cat carrier and Petco gift card with each cat adoption. The only thing is I want to make sure they are going to good homes without ulterior motives.
What questions would you ask people to ensure this?
Thanks!
My vet gave me a toothbrush and told me to go get kitty toothpaste and to brush his teeth regularly. Today I tried to brush my cat’s teeth for the first time, and it is extremely difficult (of course). I just end up getting it all over his chin and he licks it off. At least he likes the taste! Has anyone ever been successful? Or can anyone offer advice beyond just holding him down really well?
My daughter is moving in with her boyfriend and has 2 adult male cats ages 14 and 9. We took the 9 year old over, and he was vicious. I held him and talked to him for quite awhile. He growled and hissed. After he was let loose he hid under a desk and even tried to scratch and bite us. The cat that lives in the apartment was okay, hissed a couple of times but generally stared at Thunder and flipped his tail. When we got Thunder in a cat carrier and took him back to my house, he was fine. My daughter is distraught that he would try to bite her. All cats have their claws. Is there any possibility they can get along? Any suggestions?
My cat is about 9 months old.
I’d like to purchase dog and cat specialty treats, dog and cat food. Dog clothes, pet bowls, carriers… Also leashes and collars… Is there a magazine to buy that shows you different products?
I have been told several times to brush him the opposite way. (bottom to top)
I was wondering if that is the proper way to brush him to get rid of loose fur?
Thanks!
