He always urinates in the box, which is also in the bathroom. But unless the box is in pristine condition, he always drops a deuce somewhere on the bathroom floor,on the bathmat if it is still on the floor. We have tried getting a box with lower sides, changing litter, just about everything short of putting him down. My wife has lived with this for eight years and is desensitized to this. I broke him of the habit for the first three months after she moved in with me, and he has been on and off ever since, so I know he can be broken. Suggestions…

My 3 and a half year rabbit has used to litter box since the day I got her, which was about 2 years ago. All of the sudden she is peeing and pooping everywhere but in her litter-box. She has never went outside of her box so it is weird for her to be doing this. She is a spayed female and isn’t around any other rabbits. Any ideas?

I have owned this problem cat for since it was a kitten. He used to be aggressive but has settled down quite a bit within the last two years. I have been absent, however, for about two years. Not completely absent, I have always made sure he was fed, watered and his litter box changed. Honestly, he has not received enough attention. I wonder if he is not being a bit passive aggressive by not using the litter box. I have began re-training with some success, but am open to any suggestions.

I have just one cat, who is about 3 years old now.
I don’t have a very big one for her now, I don’t have too much space- but could get one a little bit bigger. Do cats prefer bigger litter boxes?
Also, she always burrows in her litter box, and sends litter everywhere. Is this normal for cats? (this is my first cat if you couldn’t tell)

I have 4 cats & one cat bullies her & wont let her use the litter box. I’m moving to a new house in 1 mo. & have to get her retrained. I try to keep the bully cat away from her, but it never works. I put dog training pads on the floor for her & she goes on them mostly, but I need her to use the litter box. Any ideas! Thank You!

Why would a cat decide to poop on the bath mat instead of her perfectly clean litter box? Is she mad at me? I don’t know what I am doing wrong. The only thing I have changed, I think, is that I have added some Arm & Hammer deodorizing powder to her litter box. Has anyone else’s cat shown their displeasure to this additive and chosen not to use their box?

I am going to be getting a kitten, which i have never owned before, I was wondering what I need to get for it and how do I litter box train it? Where should I put the food bowls and the litter box?

I adopted 2 bunnies yesterday. They’re both litter-trained. They seem to enjoy sleeping/relaxing in their litter box though? Is that normal? I have no problem with it, lol but it just seems kinda weird. They have lots of hide-outs, beds, etc to sleep. But they sleep in their litter box. Why is this?

my cat is 14 years old and about a year ago had a urinary tract infection. Because of this she stopped using the litter boxes and began to eliminate waste on the living room carpet. The infection has subsided since but she continues to eliminate elsewhere. My family does not like the smell of the house and have given her 1 week to learn how to use the litter box again..or else. i am keeping her in my room with a litter box and food in an attempt to force her to use the litter box but she still refuses..please help asap.
