Several years ago my family adopted a cat from the pound. He was a great cat, and unfortunately died several years ago. However when researching cat breeds I found that this cat had all the physical features and temperaments of a Maine Coon. But since we had gotten him from the pound there was no way to see if he was purebred or not.
So I was wondering, is there anyway to find out if a cat is a purebred or not when you can’t access its family history? Or is that the only way?

During the summer he lets stagnant water stand as a breeding ground for mosquito. Then he takes a strainer and strains out the mosquito larvae. Those little squirming hee bee gee bees he dumps in the tank and watches as the Siamese Fighting Fish gulps them down one after another. Is this healthy for the fish? He also takes pieces of tuna and holds it just above the water. The Betta jumps up and eats it from his fingers. Could this make the fish sick?

I’m planning on getting a cat, but the last cat I had peed all over the floor when no one was home. Is there a certain breed that won’t do this?

There is 2 cats, both calico, one male and one female. the female is always dominating and indoors, the male is usually outside, comes in to eat/sleep then leaves. they’re both over 10 yrs. old, but the female uses the litter box. The male doesn’t. The male poops and pee’s anywhere in the garage, especially if we arent awake to let it out.. How do we train the male calico to start using the litter box?

I am looking into buying a Siamese cat but I do not know where to start. I know that it is very rare to find Siamese cats at shelters so, where can I go about buying one?
Thanks!

Could someone please help me with some much-needed advice. What is the most suitable breed of cat for an indoor life in a one-bedroom apartment? Also, I am thinking of getting two kittens, so that they do not get bored. Maybe someone could recommend which sex to go for? Male or Female? All answers very greatly appreciated. Thank you very much in advance.

I have heard this and actually every calico cat I have own or have known has been a female. Is this fact or myth?
Wow, this is amazing to me!
