I have a friend who has cats and dogs and he wants to come and stay with me,i wanna know if its healthy to live with pets/animals in the same house,can the animals easily transmit diseases to human beings?
Where do I get a trap? How do I take the cat to be fixed? Can I request that they be released in an area away from where I live? Anything else I need to know would be greatly appreciated!!!
My female cat constantly licks and scratches her fur. The fur on her tail is nearly bald and she has a lot of sores on her, so we are a bit reluctant to use a flea spray/powder. She sits on the edge of the bath, kitchen work top, tumble dryer, plastic bags and boxes. She runs like crazy over the lounge carpet to get to the window sill or sofa etc. We have sprayed the house with a strong flea killing spray and we always make sure that we hoover and keep the house clean. This is driving her crazy and we don’t think that she is sleeping very well. She hates wearing flea collars, they end up being bitten off. Is anyone else experiencing the same problem or any suggestions would be gratefully appeciated.
I just don’t want them to starve. Are there any places or organizations that could help me with aquiring food for free or dirt cheap?
I am thinking about moving to South Africa. I have a dog and cats. Does anyone know what they have to have in terms of health certificates? They have all had rabies jabs recently, but moving to the UK for instance they require 6 months after a clean rabies test before pets can enter the country - is it the same for South Africa? Why is it okay for cats to decimate wild bird populations, but not okay for snakes to eat whatever they’re killing?

I have 2 nice fleece blankets and fleece pajama pants, and my cat has the annoying habit of licking them. He only does it in the morning, only licks fleece, and only licks the edges. But its not just like a slow lick its a very quick like he’s trying to suckle from his mother still. This makes my blankets and pants wet, and its surprisingly loud. Please help me get my cat to stop licking fleece!

Second, can the same formula be used on cats & dogs? All my animals are under 20lbs.
I don’t know where they came from, but they are up all night fighting and God knows what. We can close in the bottom of the house so no more can get in, but there are a bunch of them under the house so we don’t want to trap them. Is there something we can spray to get rid of them? We just don’t want them coming back. They are HUGE.
