The ones that are made out of straw materials and cloths are better because the pieces are easily vacuumed and they have replaceable stands. There are some suggestions below. Also the honeycomb cardboard toys are great as a multipurpose. Your cat can use it as a scratching post or a toy. Don’t get one that is rug-like because once they get to worn then they will get all over your house. (not a smart idea) your back when you got an insane itch 3. card board 4. go to pet store/vet to talk about scratching 5. old wood furniture that you don't need ( like an old desk or chair) couple of ideas that you could whip up in your own house and buy
