I use Arm and Hammer in the orange box. It's really the only one so far that keeps the smell at bay. I used to buy whatever was on sale, but now I know that old saying "You get what you pay for" applies to kitty litter too! It's not overly expensive though. Of course, my cats also prefer a covered litter box, and I keep the filter changed, along with keeping the box sifted and changed out regularly.
