Cat brush question?
I just ordered the King Cat 16 blade Stripper (yes, that’s really the name of it…) to brush my cat with… anybody ever use this? She is longhaired and sheds like mad! It hasn’t arrived yet, but I’d like feedback from people who have tried it, or something like it. Thanks!

Hi there…I just recently purchased a de-shedding comb similar to the King Cat and to my surprise found this works quite well. However you still will have to spend a considerable amount of time combing through the fur to get a lot of it, but by comparison with the typical grooming brushes this lifts out a lot of more fur with the same amount of effort. There are competitive products similar to the King Cat so I’ve decided to experiment with all to see if the extra expense was worth the difference. I found that they all work equally the same so I opted to keep the Bamboo Cat De-shedding comb: http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?cm_ven=Shopping&cm_cat=mercent&cm_pla=datafeed&cm_ite=11985&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023690&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302033734&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441813392&bmUID=1164847024669 which is the least expensive of the competitors such as Shed Ender https://www.shedender.com/Default.asp?bhcp=1 , Furminator http://www.furminator.com/testbed/indexn... , etc. who are more pricey.
not trying to be mean but why don’t u brush ur cat? it will be much quicker
I think you should see a veterarin and see whats causing all that sheding.
I don’t have the kind of brush you use. My cats shed a lot just cause they’re both so fluffy, but I have something called the "Shed Ender". It works really well. Although I do think you should ask your vet if anything can be done about their shedding. Sometimes their diet can cause cats to shed more.
I’ve never heard of that. I have the shed ender and its easy and works really well. It doesn’t hurt my cat or anything.
well I don’t use that particular brush for my cat but brushing you cat does stop the shedding. You should see your veterinarian to fine out what the cause of the shedding is. Sometime they shed when they are stressed out too.
