Can dried catnip be used against roaches?
I read that catnip is a natural cockroach repellent, can died catnip (the kind you buy for your cat) be used? Or does it have to be oil of catnip or a concentrated catnip oil (something like that) ?

I haven’t heard that one. If you’re looking for a less toxic cockroach solution, you can try applying boric acid in a thin layer near roach-trafficked areas. This site is fairly informative about application and the benefits of using boric acid:

I am not sure about the Catnip, but dryer sheets like bounce acts like a repellent for ants and those big roach looking water bugs. There is something in a dryer sheet that turns them away. Try putting one of these dryer sheets outside near some ants or other bugs and watch how they avoid going near it.
