Can cats and dogs eat raw eggs?
What about cooked eggs as well? Are there health benefits or anything else to know about cats, dogs, and eggs? Recipes?

No you should not feed raw eggs to your pets, or yourself. Cooked is the only way to eat eggs for you or your pets.
what my vet told me you can give raw egg whites to a dog or puppy if they ate something that they’re not supposed to eat. It’ll make then vomit. I’m not sure if it has the same effect on cats
They can not offer the protein and nutrients specifically needed. Just feed them cat food. If you are doing an all natural diet, they make specific cat food for that. To maintain your pets health, only feed it the appropriate food made for that animal. Talk to a vet before changing his diet…meanwhile, people food are for people.
Raw eggs pose the threat of salmonella just as it would to humans.
i know dogs can eat eggs…raw and cooked. raw eggs are suppoused to help a dogs coat shine. not sure of any health benefits to eggs for dogs though. its a nice treat for them though.
I give raw egg whites over my kitty’s food sometime for a little treat and he is fine. I’m not going to guarantee its ok though.
My dog gets whole eggs raw. He only gets one a week, too many raw egg whites can cause a vitamin B deficiency. Anyone who wants to feed raw eggs daily for protein should make a tiny hole in the egg, drain out the whites into a sink and just feed the yolk.
