Buying New Cat Tree(may be called scratching post)?
I’m looking for a new cat tree for 2 cats. The last one I bought was from Wal-Mart for 35 bucks.
This year I’m willing to spend up to 0 for a cat tree.
Is their a difference between quality for cat trees? Since the Wal-Mart one lasted almost 1 year and a half. Its still in okay condition but I think its time for a new one. Any ones you recommend? Is their a difference between price and the quality for cat trees?
Thanks
Looking for a tall one and not too fat. And somewhere where the cat can sit on.
Also do you know the difference between the not so good quality and good quality or the difference of price?
At least 6 1/2 feet. Prefer 8-10 feet.

I found this site through someone else on here. You should go to it and check it out. They have some awesome cat tree’s and I’m going to buy one through here next time I get one.

These cat tree’s are very well priced for the height and build of them!
For a $150 bucks…
You can buy him his own velour couch to sleep on and shred and climb about on…
And then you can use it, too…
(boy! you must really love that cat…my cat gets a "free" cardboard soda can box, and a shredded terry-cloth bathrobe as a blanket…and he’s damn lucky to get that…lol…
i buy mine from argos or ebay
Make your own, get a piece of wood, some cheap carpet and nail it on. Cats don’t know the price of things, they just want to claw.
The first thing to look for is a good heavy base. Make sure it will not tip, sway or rock when the cats are climbing on it.
The next thing to look for is the construction. Is the carpet and hemp securely attached to the sections? Are there loose places that will get hung up in claws? Are the platforms large enough for your cats?
I have always wanted one of these cat trees for my furbabies. But I simply don’t the space for one. I hope you find the purrfect tree and your kitties love it.
Purrs to you and kitties.
