Naughty kitty and hit him with a stick
Use a squirt bottle to spray it when it goes near the tree. The cat will learn fast not to do it anymore.
Cayenne pepper on the branches.
So funny, this is the third time I’ve seen this question in the past few days. My cat does that too. Use a squirt gun or water bottle to spray her when you see her near it.
well you should train that cat and if the cat keeps on doing just let tha cat cats will be cats
If possible just keep it out of the room that you have the Christmas tree. Cats will try to get into anything, especially shiny, dangly things.
uhh, maybe get rid of the tree??
cats like to climb trees.its a natural instinct.
smack him with sumthing but not hard
you gotta teach him who’s boss
or try to think of new ways if mines doesn’t work
place the christmas tree in a tub of water…
or tie a dog to guard the tree… 0
My cat likes to eat the tree (fake) and the other likes to knock the ornaments off. I purchased the plastic runner that’s used to protect carpets and laid it out around the tree pokey side up. It looks a little odd and it’s sore if you step on it, but it keeps the cats away.
SPRAY THE CAT!
lol My cat used to do the same thing when he was smaller but he still likes to chew on the fake tree. They have sprays for that. Go to a pet store and they’ll know what spray it is.
You can buy spray at the petstore that keeps cats away from things you dont want them near. Spray bottles work too, but you arent always around, and some cats like water. Cayenne pepper will work too. Some things just don’t work on all animals. So you gotta try a few things maybe.
Take a spray bottle filled with water and add a cap or tablespoon of applecider vinegar. Every time they go near the tree give him a good squirt and a firm No! They don’t like the taste of vinegar when cleaning themselves. Or just plain water.
This is what works for me.
Merry xmas and good luck.
Take a cheesecloth and soak it in the oil that comes from a can of tuna fish. Then take the cheesecloth and wrap it around an extension cord and put in under the Christmas tree. Plug in the extension cord. Your problem will be solved within a day.
You may want to place some tin foil or something else under the tree to prevent your floor from getting dirty when you do this.
Don’t really do this. This is a joke. Just in case someone in a trailer somewhere thinks this is a cool idea to try.
