We have a 4 year old tortoiseshell named Cindy and the back claw on her front leg(the claw that doesn’t touch the ground when she walks) is turning back in on its self almost to the point where it would start digging into the back of her leg (if we didn’t keep it trimmed it would be). Her claw wasn’t always like this but seems to be getting worse. There doesn’t seem to be any swelling and shes not showing any signs of being in pain. What should i do?

My new cat has 4 little babies and uses the rug to go to the bathroom. How can i get her to use the litter box?

There is this kitten that lives somewhere in my backyard. My dad leaves food out on the porch for the kitten to eat but now that it’s winter, the food freezes before the kitten can eat it. We want to try and catch it so we can take it to the vet and then give it a home so it doesn’t die in the snow.

my puppy likes to get into my cats litter box. he does it all the time and i have no idea how to get him to stay away from it?

I want a cat but I live in apartments so it won’t be able to go outside.
I wouldn’t declaw it, that’s not even legal where I live. Yeah, I would like an adult cat because I saw a lot of depressed looking cats at a shelter.

There is a gray tabby stray cat in my outdoor parking lot, but whenever I come close, it just runs away, i already put a box out for it but i need more tips for taming it, because i really want to touch it. If you have any tips please tell me. Thanks.

I recently adopted a 10 year old declawed cat. The old owners tired of her (!!) and tried to have her euthanized. Since there was nothing wrong with her, the vet in good conscience could not do it. Eventually she ended up at a shelter where we found her. She will be calmly laying on me, and while i’m petting she licks me – a lot actually (licks walls, coffee table, etc…) Eventually her licks turn into biting. Seems to come out of no where. She is also extremely sensitive. I can’t walk by her without her literally jumping and running away and hiding. Other than this she still plays and has fun. I’ve had her now for about two months.

My cat is having problems using the litter box again. This has happened once before but the problem went away. Now it is back and my is family adamant on getting rid of her this time. Is there anyway we can help remedy this? She was our first cat and I don’t like the idea of getting rid of a cat without trying to help them just because your are frustrated.
She doesn’t just go in one place but does it all over the house and we have two different litter boxes for her.

I’m moving on Friday, and I have to take my 1 1/2 year old cat to this new house. When I first got her she HATED the car ride, cried and stressed out the whole ride home. Which I don’t want her to be stressed because moving is a big deal for animals apparently. Is there some product I can buy at pet stores, to calm her before the car ride? Maybe like a spray to put on her sheet that I’m putting in her carrier? Please help.
