My roomate has two cats and we share a very small home. The cats are adorable, but I absolutely can not stand the litter box smell. I need to know the best litter to use. I was also wondering about the automatic litter boxes, and curious if they helped control the smell. Giving the cats away is not an option and I am getting a great deal living with my roomie so I need help! It will be greatly appreciated:)

i’m worried about my rats, i don’t want my cat to scratch at any of them. i live in a one bedroom apartment, so moving the cage is not an option, since there is nowhere else to put it. closing the door to our room makes it super hot even with the AC on. no matter how many times i yell at her, spray her with water, or slap her, she doesn’t stop.
what else can i do?
& no i’m not rehoming my cats either, or my rats.
i said i used a water bottle. & the cage is five & a half feet tall.

My 8 month old cat has been licking himself for a while now, and its been getting a little bad. He’s been licking himself until he’s bleeding. I don’t know what to do. I know I should go to the vet, but I don’t have the money at the moment. What should I do to treat the sores?
I have no one to borrow money from…Im still looking for a job.

This cat’s a new breed, hybrid of two purebred cat breeds. 10 pts to the closest right answer to guess what two breeds!

easy 10 pts..
well, it’s a breed in the UK, just registered in the 90′s I think. Not so sure in the US.

Hello. I am in the process of starting my own cat toy business. I have all of my toys sewn and in the process of getting them online on Etsy. If I ever wanted to sell them in stores, I would probably want to put the toys on the cardboard/cardstock backing that many cat toys are attached to.
Does anyone know what those are called? Any idea on a printing company that would do this?
Example:
http://www.worldwise.com/flutterballs.ht…
You may have seen cat toys like this attached to a colorful backing. I would love to do something like this, especially since the consumer is able to touch and feel the toy.
Thank you, everyone!

So I just found out that High Brow Cat is a HERDA carrier but he is the top cutting sire of all time, producing the best cutters. We just bred a mare to him and I have no clue if she’s ever been tested or not. My family bred her and I’m away at school so don’t call me irresponsible, I had no say (I still would have bred her to him though if she’d been tested). I was just curious to what people thought snce he is a carrier but is the #1 sire.
even if she is a carrier, aborting is not an option. you just can’t abort a ,000 foal. we would just have to hope the foal is born as only a carrier or just fine. her sire and her dam aren’t on that list online, but her dam could have maybe not been tested because her dam’s sire is a carrier.

I have a cat who constantly loves to sit on my belly and put his head on my shoulder, it’s like his little perch. I am 35 weeks and sometimes when he sits there it feels like he is going to push the baby right out of me. It is just really uncomfortable sometimes, but I want to still be able to cuddle with my kitty. Yes I am one of those pet people. Does anyone know if it is bad to let him sit there or am I just worrying too much for the like the 100th time in this pregnancy?
