I want those special cat carriers that open from the top and side!

I have always litter maid boxes, I don’t care for the plastic containers that the litter is dumped into, gets quite messy (litter falls thru the cracks) and have had one that just stopped working after warranty ran out and another that completely jammed. So I’m thinking of trying a new brand. Scoop free seems expensive to maintain. Any recommendations that have worked well for you? I have two cats and one is pretty big!

My cat Alfie will eat a lot, but throw up about every other day. It looks mostly like undigested/ partly digested food. He’s pretty active and has bright eyes. As far as I’m concerned, he’s healthy. But as I said, he coughs up his food and there has been hair falling out of his flanks, stomach, and tail. He’s an indoor cat, and a little flabby. Three years old.

What’s wrong?

I adore chubby cats and I was wondering if there are any breeds that are bred to be fat as I know some dogs are bred to be portly.

I am thinking about moving to Australia and will probably be only able to afford an appartment.

I have two cats that are fully house trained, they spend about 90% of their day inside.

Is it cruel to not let cats explore outside and keep them locked in an apartment? Even if you did have cat towers and toys for them?

I’d most likely be home alot of the time so they wouldnt be lonely, but is it cruel?

We want to build a cat platform thing that kind of has stairs to go higher and has perches high up by our cathedral ceilings with 1 or 2 other platforms below that.(There is a staircase there that goes to our first floor.) On the other side, I want another "staircase" coming back down from the platforms…Any ideas? Best answer gets 10 points and I will use their design!!!

I’ve just bought a Siamese fighting fish and its really cool. I’ve introduced it to my 32 Litre Tank, and its a coldwater one too. I know you are suppose to keep the water warm if the tank is over 8 Litre but the pet store lady said it will survive, {just not as active}. How do I take care of it?

I have an outdoor cat who loves to chase bugs on the window screens. People have suggested shooting him with a water gun but by the time I get outside he has come down and I doubt he would associate being squirted with the climbing. Declawing isn’t an optiion as he is an outdoor cat whose purpose is to hunt mice. So far he hasn’t torn a screen, but if he does, it won’t be prettty.Any solutions?
He has no fear of me. I can stomp on the floor and yell and he just looks at me like I’m crazy.
